Life and Business Coaching

Why coaching?

First, I would like to start with my personal story. Before launching my private counselling and coaching practice, I worked in the private sector for five years spending the last two and a half years as a Team Leader. When I was promoted to Team Leader and tried to find my own leadership style, it was clear to me that I wanted to use my knowledge in psychology. In my view, a good leader helps team members to be confident and comfortable in their positions and roles so they can do an excellent job. I knew that coaching would help me in this respect so I attended courses and received my coaching degree. Applying coaching theory into practice, I realized that if interpersonal relationships are in order, the leader’s job is a lot easier. In my private practice, I am helping my clients both in their professional and personal development. It is a very fulfilling experience for me to see them realize their goals and set new ones which they have only dreamt about before.

During coaching sessions, rather than exploring personality, we develop a strategy and action plan my clients can use to achieve their own set of goals. The key focus in these sessions is that you can learn about yourself and in the process you improve yourself by voluntarily tracking, completing relevant tasks, and keeping deadlines. The result of the development is achieving the goal set which is divided into partial goals.

In counselling, the question of ’why’ is important, in coaching, the question of ’how’ is the one we focus on.

During the first session, we discuss and agree on which service is the most efficient for you.
